Hi all,
As you can see from my name I'm from the UK. I'm in my 33rd year of metal detecting. I thought
you may be interested that I've just bought a new 'Laser Trident 2 SI'. It's the Vaquero with the
boosted 18.5 frequency. My first outing with it is on Sunday so I'll let you know how it performs.
For many years I used a White's XLT on an Anglo- Saxon site and it found me many coins and
artifacts. Last year I decided to invest in a high frequency XP Goldmaxx Power, as the land I
search is quite mineralised. Unfortunately It wasn't successful - I couldn't get along with the
Triple tone I.D and lacked confidence in the machine. Having read reviews of the Vaquero I
feel that this detector will deliver the goods.
