Well I am proud to join the ranks of the Rosco Ring Finders Club !!!!
Thursday I was hunting my familys old Country Store (closed in 1969-70, Opened in early 1900's). My parents sold the house and property 4 years ago when they also sold their house (1920's) and moved to Southport North Carolina.
I hunted the backyard Thursday in the area where the clothes lines were located. This is where I found my first Rosco Ring!! The 250 jumped from Dime to Quarter - 6inches. It was actually at about 5 inches. I thought I had a real good one here but after cleaning I found it to be a scarab (real stone) in unmarked band. It is fairly heavy though. When I get a good scale (only have my Lyman scale for reloading ammo) I will get a weight.

I was using the 9x12 coil to try and get some extra depth - the metal box lid was at 8"
