New member
Hi you all
My name is Howard Witzenburger I'm retired and I live Orlando, FL with my wife and 2 of our 7 Children.
I'm a brand new owner of a Garrett Ace 150 metal detector i got it just yesterday(3/7) from Kellyco here in Winter Springs, FL.
I have not had a chance to use it accept for in the house due to all the rain we have had the past 2 days.
I have wanted a metal detector for awhile but other things had to come first so my bought me this for my birthday(3/14) and surprised me with it 7 days early.
I will be 64 on my birthday we will have been married 40 on June 1st of this year.
I'm looking forward to enjoying the outdoors and having allot of fun with my Ace 150 in the coming days.
Your in Christ: Cmdr Howard

PS:
The title Cmdr Howard comes from the fact that I was a Royal Ranger Commander for 14 years.
Royal Ranger is a boys group in the Assembly of God Church.
It is a program that mentors boys into Christian Men.
I have retired from it but am in it's Alumni Group helping out where I can.
I felt it was time for some younger men to take their place as leaders.

Welcome aboard - and Happy Birthday soon. The detector is a good one as lots of guys online are giving it good reports. Good luck & keep us posted, steve i nso az

The ace 150 is a pretty good machine as long as you watch the sensitivity, especially around salt water. If it starts to go crazy on you, don't be afraid to bring the sensitivity back to, say, 50 or 60 percent.

I have a Garrett Ace and it has paid for itself MANY times over. It is a killer machine in freshwater beach areas and even submerged to the control box.

Have fun, post often. <><

organizations like that when I was a kid...maybe I would be doing fewer stupid things in my old age.

God bless you for the example you set for the younger generation.

Besides my Minelab I have a Garrett 250 and up until I got the Minelab I was a Garrett only type of guy. Garrett has great machines...good luck on your hunts down Florida way.
