I'm a new member in Reno, Nv., looking for a metal detector ("MD") club, or MD enthusiasts within a one or two drive from Reno. I hope to find info about a better MD, and am searching to find an unbiased MD forum that is NOT supported in whole or part, by any MD sellers. I've read many reviews of MDs and it's impossible, it seems, to simply find the MD equivalent of the neutral, unbiased, ad-free Consumer Reports! Perhaps I didn't do enough research, but all I'm finding are so-called "reviews," that are difficult to believe since many "reviews," seem to be nothing more than covert ads for their MDs.
I thank you all for your attention to helping me find a metal detecting club around Reno. And, Just as it may have seemed impossible that Trump would get elected, is it equally as impossible to find any unbiased metal detecting reviews that are not supported, in whole or even in tiny part, by ads by metal detector sellers? (In other words, is there a professional, honest, unbiased reporting of MDs like those conducted by the ad-free Consumer Reports?)
