Welcome X-man. I've been on the Tesoro forum just a bit over six weeks and have learned so much. The Tesoro forum is one of the most active forums on the site. For just plain general questions about metal detecting go to the metal detecting forum. There is a lot of knowledge and experience here, and people are willing to help us newcomers with questions, so ask away.

Welcome to the forum. Visit this place often with any ?'s you may have and also let us know what you are finding. It is good to hear about other people finds If you want to list your equipment and add a personal touch at the end of your messages posted you can create a signature in your profile under edit my signature. Then at the top of your message box there is a check off box that says add my signature to this message. Each time you want to add it just check the box. There are some cool forums in the other forums section at the bottom of the main page including a classifieds forum where you can buy and sell equipment. I love this forum. I wish I would have found it sooner.

Welcome and don't be shy about asking what might seem to be a stupid question. The folks here all were beginners at one time and asking questions will shorten up the learning curve.
