New member...from Massachusetts

Mr. Digger

New member
Hello fellow hunters...new member from Massachusetts here (North Shore/Merrimack Valley). I had an older White's years ago that I never used much, but I started detecting intensely again about 3 years ago when I got my Minelab SE Pro. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where we find some old stuff. It's been a good year and I'm very disappointed that the snow will fly and the ground will freeze soon. My three best finds this year have been a late 1800's silver pocket spill (barber quarter, barber dime, 4 seated dimes and a V-nickel), my first 2 cent piece (and later found my second) and most recently my first Spanish silver (1751 real). I look forward to seeing everyone's great finds here on the forum!

Mr Digger, I am located on the South Shore, Rockland. This Spring lets do some detecting.
I have some pictures on FMDF and TN, forums of finds last year., I guess you can only have one picture on Find mal?
.I am new on this Forum but I will say I have received a lot of help and advice from administrator , which goes a long way

Tigerlilly, I am sorry I never got back with you on the coil , I have had some water damage in the back of the MD shop.
I did leave you a PM on Friendly MDF. I look over your choices of coils , Example , the Russian Nel coils. I am just learning about them myself..
It looks like they their compatible with a lot of detectors. Again It was only one thread. I am not experience with these coils. Also, where they tested in Europe? again much different soil condition.

Hi Everybody

I am new member and also from Massachusetts. I am in Sharon. Just waiting to get out if the snow ever melts.

I grew up on the cape, but live in Indiana now. I wish I was into MD'ing back then..so much history! I hope to visit my brother in NH this summer. I'll definitely bring my detector with me if I do!
