New member from Alabama

Hello everybody- wanted to join this forum because it has well mannered experienced people that helped me decide on getting my second Tesoro.I bought a Cibola a few years ago and loved it but I saw that my father liked it, so I gave it too him and decided to get a Fisher F5.Well to make a long story short,I sold it and just purchased a Tesoro uMAX Bandido .I know it's not the uMAX Bandido ll ,but I was wondering if any of ya'll have used one before and what you thought about it? Also if any of ya'll live close to Demopolis,Al. and need a detecting partner, just let me know. Thanks, Tommy

I am new to metal detecting myself and new to this forum as well. I also am from Alabama and live in the Demopolis area. Have been hunting for a hunting partner for a while...actually didn't know anyone or of anyone around these parts that did it. You're not by chance in the construction business are you?

Yes I am,Lewis Construction.I have been metal detecting for years,just hadn't made time to go.Most people around here want to play golf.I enjoy detecting and arrowhead hunting ,but these days it is hard to get permission from anybody.I would be glad to get together and do some detecting.

What a small world ! You just put a roof on my girlfriend's parents house last week in Old Spring Hill. You know her well.
