Any forum members have any experience in these areas? i will be there this weekend and thought I would take the detector along. Alot of Civil War history in the area. Anyone want to help with a detecting spot, certainly would appreciate it.

Well, didnt get any responces or help form the members, :-(
BUt the area sure does look good. Talked to a Civil War shop owner and she said everything has been picked over pretty well. I'm surer there are some goodies left in the outlying areas of the properties though. Anyway, If anyone has hunted this area, I would still like to here about it. Thanks, Mike

I'm new to the forum, so I just read your post from Aug 19, 2012. I live in the Front Royal area (a few miles north of Luray) and I was wondering, did you find anything on this hunt? By the way, I have asked several times on this forum for people who live in this area, no responses yet.

If you live nearby or visit often, contact me, maybe we can get a hunt together.
