new machine / old techniques

wormkisser

I am very excited about the CTX and look foreward to buying one if the shakedown cruise warrants it
In the meantime as I await the real world field tests I will be using a tried and true target recovery
technique that is almost fool proof in the right location.
Old ground with lots of trash needs lesche / shovel target separation....dig out the junk and find the goodies!
This extra work will match any new tech machine's capabilities if you know the ground you hunt.
The CTX may indeed give a faster target recovery rate once mastered but until the fat lady sings my wallet
stays shut!
Patience is all that I will pay at this time....hope some of you figure it out before you have a stroke!

You are right wormkisser. But once mastered it will just about be a waste of time to follow behind a person that has a CTX 3030. No they won't find it all not unless their coil goes over it. HH :minelab:

Hersey....I expect( hope ) the CTX to not only make my old nasty sites new again....but to also give my bad
detecting habits the boot once and for all.
My Explorer has been rather good to me for many years. Had I really tried to learn it...well who knows
what I could have done!
The CTX may bring out some creative approaches to finding the goodies...I am just waiting (hopefully)
on a new friend.
Over the years Digger has given tons of great detecting tips and views that many here really appreciate.

If he likes the CTX...then nuff said...just waiting a bit...just a bit!

Thank you! Once you get ready to go, I don't thik you'll be disappointed. HH Randy
