Is that the $56.99 one on your site Pete? Did you change the head design.... if so whats it made out of? I dont care for the ML lower rods they wear way to quickly. The old one was made of pretty study stuff. While i have you on the line, how long are your carbon fiber shafts?

Dew, the one pictured here and on our website is the premium carbon fibre model. The clevise has been totally re-engineered and is injection molded from glass reinforced nylon from our own custom mold. The rods come with our new oversize washers and nut and bolt. We also include a set of shims so that as the washers compress over time or get chewed up from the salt and silt, the shims can be inserted to take up the wear thus extending the useful life of the washers. We have been testing these lowers for the last 6 months and as with all of our products stand behind them 100%.....Pete

May I ask the price for the Excal II lower rod? The one from ML that came with my machine is inferior, the coil won't stay steady and wobbles around, had to rig it up with some plastic so it will stay at a certain angle. I will check with a dealer, thanks
