New lens brings a sure sign of spring.

I was driving out of my driveway, and discovered this Lady Slipper Orchid growing right on the base of this tree.(I have this thing for flowers) The snow, and frost just left a week ago. I guess it just couldn't wait.
The Lady Slipper's are a protected flower in this state, and are quite scarce.

Did the move, and purchased a new Canon 28-135mm 3.5 IS lens for my XT Rebel. First chance I had to work with it in daylight.

Now I have to figure out how to use Photo Shop, and Elements 2.0. Each time I play with it I discover something new with it. Quite nifty both the camera, lens, and the photo program. Certainly a lot more to play with than with film.
