New in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello. I recently went hunting with a friend of mine in British Columbia, and I am hooked. He has a 400i, and we were finding coins, jewelry, buttons......! I plan to purchase one and have watched a few reviews.
I would like to know the laws for Alberta, and more specifically Edmonton. I plan to be hunting by spring, and knowing where and where not to go would be great.

Yes I am. Been detecting over 20 years. I got a lot of rings with my ACE 400i this year.
