New Hunt at an Old School with MXT Pro :detecting:

Got out this afternoon for a few hours and hunted an old school that closed down in the mid 80s. I was told that it had been hunted alot by other MDters long ago ?? Noticed that school board maintenance workers had recently cut back and thinned out the bushes right next to the school bldg itself which opened up some new space to swing the 5.3 coil. I concentrated in that area and found lots and lots of trash. Kinda wish I would have brought the 4x6 shooter ? Anyway, was able to pull out some coins in the area to include 3 Wheats ( 1 - 1954D & 2 -1956D) plus 1 - 1956 nickle. Im anxiously waiting for someone to shred the football field area. Thanks for viewing. CCH.

Hey, you didn't do too bad for an old school yard. At least you got a few old coins. Keep your eyes peeled for when they do the football field. That sounds like a lot of fun hunting for sure! HH, Nancy

He must have not finished what he was going to say. It's a lot more than "junk". Good hunt CCH!
