New High Tone Cibola

Just got it the other day along with a new Pro Pointer.
I could only take it out for a short time and it has been raining off and on for the last few days.
Maybe I will do the GB mod over the winter.Seems deep enough the way it is though.
I have not seen any postings yet about air tests with the Mod Cibola.
Maybe TomeKV will post some later on.
Anyway in stock condition these cibolas will find plenty I'm sure.
Trying to get to a park to give it a run.

Hey, thats a good pin pointer. I don't leave the house without mine.
It really makes finding the target SOOOoooo much eaiser. I just started
useing the VAQUERO and finally, today, got the GB down.
Enjoy your detector and happy hunting.

Before and after mod air tests on my Cibola were the same. I ended up with a detector that no longer was a good bit on the positive side for GB with respect to most places I hunt. Can't say I dig much deeper with it now, but can balance it to hot rocks that are in parking areas and get some target hits. Those parking areas are pretty hard to find anything if I can't GB to the rocks.

I did some tests.
I made my first YouTube video :)
Now it processing ... I will post it soon in topic "Cibola with GB some tests."

This is my full blown air test before my Cibola was mod'd with GB:
http://home.earthlink.net/~deltareale/data/AIR%20TEST%20CIBOLA.pdf
After the GB mod, after ground balancing, air test depths increased approx. 1-4" depending upon the item. It air tested sightly less than the Tejon I had.

Here's another tidbit, take 5 identical Cibolas and they will not air test the same. The stock Cibola I mod'd actually air tested 1 1/2 or so deeper than the other ones I checked.

I must have lucked out on this one.
Most of my air tests are close to what sven posted and maybe a little more except with sensitivity maxed out I get much more.
I will have to get a video camera and show this as well as keeping a video log of my finds and settings-----only those that I think are deep.
Where I am the soil is mild I think.
With the Fisher F5 my soil reads about mid 70's 75,76.
