You could use some discrimination to filter out the irony. Perhaps that will help. :)

Seriously, get well soon!

Ya gotta love a sense of humor.

thanx...needed a good laugh....by the way one of my first detectors...which i still have is a BH tracker 2-d 707
and still works fine...for what it is

You will definitely love your Land Star...If you have any questions, feel free to ask...to start, just turn the machine on, and turn up the SENS to about 2 o'clock...if you swing and get false signals at the ends of your swings, turn the SENS back to 12 noon, if still getting false signals, turn it back to 10 o'clock...you should not have to touch anything else..make sure DISC/NOTCH is fully CCW, and Ground Balance is in the Pre-Set position...this way, you will pick up all metal targets...Dig everything to start...this way you will get to know what is what when your machine rings out...use the ALL-Metal no motion mode to pinpoint. Sound is the loudest when your directly over the target (in center loop).

thanks BH-LandStar..I did take it into the backyard today..got a sound midtone target and started
to dig,but never found it. I had used a/m no/mo to pinpoint but my target vanished. Reswept the area...nothing:shrug:
I still got a lot to learn.

I got a lot of those when I first started with the Pioneer 202...would dig about 8 inches before finally giving up. try turning the SENS back just a bit more...Also the detector will false if you bring it from a warm place (your house) to a cold place (outdoors) for a while, until the unit comes to the air temp around it...may take up to 15-20 minutes sometimes...I usually put the machine together, and sit on a swing or something and drink a Gatorade or something until the machine settles in.

HH,

BH-LandStar

Went back out and used a/m. it was a pull tab. apparently when i was digging it laid on its side, but
when i filled the hole back in it was straight again...lol:blush:

I usually stab em with the Lesche while digging my flap, and they end up on the point...Then I do not notice them and re-scan the hole to find my signal disappeared...:pulltab: :please:...
