Hi everyone. I have recently found this forum and have been reading alot. Trying to learn the etrac after using the ace 250 for a while. I have a lot to take in. :stars:

I found some grass today at an old park and wasted no time. This was my first trip out this year so I was jonesing hard. I hit $1.83 in clad and was fortunate enough to pull my first silver and wheat of the year. A 1951 rosey that I needed for the album and a 1953 d wheat penny.
Thanks for looking everyone,

Welcome aboard, your rosie looks pretty sharp. What part of the country do you live in?? .

Thanks Dave,
I'm from Northern Ohio. I was sure excited to get out yesterday. I almost forgot what grass looked like after all that snow. I sure hope its done for the year. Has the thaw hit you yet? Hope so.

I went out Tuesday, I hunted around at the local football field. 90% snow covered, but the long gravel drive was hiding alot of coins and the road ditch, was surprisingly easy to dig. I guess as the snow melts, and the water runs off, it keeps the dirt from freezing. Everything that is shaded, or snow covered is frozen. The important thing I think is loosening up the arms and wrists and knees, after four months of reduced activity. Temperatures are suppose to stay steady and the warm rains that are expected will thaw things pretty fast. If we could get it to stay above freezing overnight, we'd be set.

Take care, Dave
