I just thought you treasure hunting folks that use whites metal detectors, the DFX might like to know that whites came out with a
new step by step guide by author Howard Garr. The name of the guide is ( Dancing with the DFX ).It's for anyone that uses the
Big Foot Coil. When I was new to the forum people were nice and helpful to me when I needed help so now I'm trying to return
the favor, some of you may know of this book but to others I'm just putting it out there.I just figured it could'nt hurt just more
help.I believe it cost 24.95.The book is the same size as the book Digging Deeper with the DFX.There's alot of good info.
in it,it has 167 pages happy hunting folks..............

I'm a little confused

Is the book ONLY if you have a Big Foot Coil on your DFX?

Thanks

HH :beers:

Honestly one can never know too much about the hobby and lost count of books etc. I have read and one always picks up some good ideas so thanks for sharing....remember there are those that swing a detector and those that are true detectorists which took years in the making and reading and actual time in the field surely broaden our abilities...

This guide is for useing the bigfoot coil with the DFX.If your interested this guide
gives you information for hunting on all kinds of sandy beaches & in dirt i just
thought i would past this this info. onto all my fellow treasure hunters, and if
you know about this already great have a great day..

This information in this guide is on the bigfoot coil for on the DFX it explanes how to use
on all kinds of sandy beaches wet or dry and also dirt,so if you have a bigfoot coil
you could learn more on how to use and get more from the bigfoot coil.....

After reading about a new book here I went out and bought the book and tried out some of the custom programs from the book for the beach.
I tried it with the 1400 DD coil first. An hour later I had to walk back to the car and put the 950 coil on.
A half hour later I had to switch back to the stock beach/Jewelry program! Then I was back in business! $$ :clapping:
Maybe the book is, just for the BIGFOOT Coil?
It doesn't work here on Long Island Beaches with any of my 4 coils!
I'll give the book another shot "Inland" in a couple of weeks.(or how ever long the big thaw takes)
I will let you know how it works out. If not, the book will go on eBay!
I guess that is what I get for not waiting for other reviews in my area before purchasing the book.

Just like Treasure Hunting, I thought it was "Silver" and it came up "pull tab"! LOL

I just purchased a copy of "Dancing with the DFX". Could someone explain if the book is printed as a photocopy?
I'm disappointed that all the pictures are B/W and the book has the look and feel of a mediocre photocopy. Did KellyCo rip me off? or is this how the book is printed?

I forgot the Authors name, but he is a regular on the DFX Forum. You might try posting there for and answer.
