New Golden out for a spin...

...took the little Golden uMax out for a whirl today. Very interesting... Pure Tesoro DISC and lots of tones. I had gone over the same area with my GTP 1350 set wide open to accept all metal, and knew there was lots of trash. The Golden knew it, too. As usual with the breed, good sound good and, well, junk doesn't.

The notch works good, too. Targets that I knew to be tabs from digging them, notched out perfectly. Seems the way to use the Golden is to hunt in no notch, then when you get a mid-tone hit, switch on the notch.
Narrow notch cuts out lower tabs and Wide notch also includes screwcaps and zincers, it seems.

More from the field later.
