You will have fun testing your new lens. Please share some test pictures. Kelley (Texas) :)

Did you read the review on the new Pentax ??
I saw a video on the new Pentax,, looks like you can use it in light rain...
Bj

Hello BJ. Yes, there are a few in the Pentax range one can use in light rain/rain.
Lenses with the "WR" in the name contain some extra seals to be water resistant.
And the "K100D super" also has some more seals added to be rainproof. The K100D super is the K100D replacement.
And there is a K110D which is the same as the K100D except the shake reduction. So the K110D will have a lower drain and is with this more battery friendly.
All these three mentioned cams are using a 6MP APS-C CCD-sensor.
But as I mentioned, I got the K100 used on budget last x-mas just to do some different pics than I do with the HS25EXR (which is my main cam).

Hello Kelley.
The Tamron glas is known for shooting not the best images, but it is a low budget lens.
This glas covers my needs if traveling (no need for another focal width), and works in all modes the cam offers.

The chimneys were shot through a double glazed window.
No editing, only resized.
