On a scale of one to 10, with the old original ProPointer being ten, how loud is the new Propointer? Both running tone and vibe.
 
No reason to reply y'all, I already had a chance to test myself and have concluded that the new Propointer just won't work for my ears. I call the carrot Propointer a 7 or 8 in audio tone with vibration compared to the original. That's without HP too. I can only imagine the depletion of sound inn the field with HPs on.
 
long time PP user, couple times out with the new 'carrot' version. I put electricians tape over the speakers on all my PP's....to keep dirt out....

I use noise cancelling headphones and have no trouble hearing either PP.....the carrot actually seems louder to me...never have a problem hearing in the field, even with high winds and/or sometimes traffic...

you're very 'off the mark' regarding the PP AT volume....
