Hello Everybody. I'm happy to join this forum. I just purchased my first "real" metal detector yesterday and am already addicted to this new hobby. I live in Michigan. I bought a Garrett GTP 1350 and love it. I found a handfull of pennies in my backyard and a quarter within a half hour. I can honestly say I only found one nail on the coin setting so I'm very impressed with this machine. I went out again today and found an old naughty (pictures of a man and women front and back) flip coin which I could not show my kids. It is fairly old and so this was a neat find. Happy hunting.
