New Garrett detector, replacement for GTI 2500 ?

Ten years ago appeared the worldwide acclaimed GTI 2500, but now it looks a little bit outdated compared with the AT Pro or the Infinium.

Some accessories are no more available for this detector, so i'm wondering if a new replacement machine is about to be revealed by Garrett.

Have somebody more informations about that ?

There has been rumors. And IMO opinion it's high time Garrett came out with a new top of the line model.Just makes good sense to get ahead of the competition. We need to locate the Garrett field testers and watch them thru telescopes.

I've heard they are. I've also heard First Texas(Fisher and Teknetics) is as well. It's just a matter of time and who's first.

I can't wait to see the color. Purple or orange. anything but PINK! Naw after all they do wan't to sell them. Basic black is my choice.

It's still a very powerfull detector the 2500, and if you like Imaging and all metal still nothing compares...a new top o the line should be coming within 2 years, hopefully sooner.

As for the Infinium it is WAY out of date and cannot compete with the Minelab GPX 5000 PI or get even close to it for prospecting, relic hunting it is still a beast.
