New Friends and New Places

A New friend from Canastota came into town to do a little 'tectin' with me Sunday Morning. We were out bright and early at 7am, and the humidity was the lowest it has been in 2 weeks. That all changed by about 9am, but it was still tolerable. Hit a new to me school yard first, and my first signal was the 1946 Rosie. It was to be the only Silver for the day. Lots of 40s-60s coins, so surprised we did not find more silver. Oldest clads were '67 and '68 Quarters, and '41, '64, and '68 Nickels. A ton of 60s pennies.

HH,

To bring out the dates on crusty copper cents, nickels and quarters. I rub the date area with a graphite pencil, and rub with tissue paper...
