New forum member with a question

I just joined the tesoro forum and have a couple of questions. I am looking for a good detector that will work on the salt water beaches in South Africa when I go there next year. One person told me the tiger shark would be a good machine. Question 1. Is this true?

He has one that has about 1 hour use on it. He wants $525 for it. Question 2. Is this reasonable?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Tom,

The Tiger Shark does not work well in salt water or salty

wet sand. It will work fine in the dry sand.

A Tiger Shark cost $600 new.

You would save $75

I don't know how good that deal is.

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog
