What if the new fisher is more a coin machine then the T2 is. Lower KHz but deep and see through iron and trash. That would be different and a DD coil that works like a T2. T2 for relic and the new fisher for coins. Then you can forget about the Explorer!!!!
 
Bounty Hunter was producing detectors with DD coils in the mid 70s,and they worked better than a lot of their current models.These models were the IB300 IB200 and IB100.I used these units and they had great depth and pinpointed very well.They were TRs not VLFs,never could figure out why they didn't continue producing these units.
