I was thinking about the new Fisher F75 and I really had a hard time wonding why Fisher took so long to come out with this upgrade....A lot of you seem to love the Fisher and my thoughts are. If it really took them all this time to make this machine so much better and it will help hunters find more targets and go back to hunted our areas and find masked targets then I am all for it and hope that this is a game changer for them and everyone that upgrades or buys one. I look forward to reading on this forum all the great finds you guys dig and how much better it works in iron.

maybe you should just go ahead and get yourself one, do some head-to-head in-field comparisons with your Deus and see how it turns out...

other folks reports are good but can in no way take the place of your own actual experiences...

I think you been wearing blinders, Lowboy.

Just looking specifically at the F75 releases (if I'm wrong feel free to correct me)

:fisher:The first F75 was released in 2006.

:fisher:The second F75 with Boost and Cache modes (F75 SE) camo released in 2009, black in 2010.

:fisher:Now the third F75 LTD with DST + is released in 2014.

Now go back and look at all the 1st Texas detector releases that have taken place in between those, or even at the same time, being sure to look at all three brands 1st Texas makes.

In fact, just this year alone you have the Eurotek, Eurotek Pro, F19, F75 DST + and the F75 LTD DST+, the Quick Draw Pro, and the Land Ranger Pro.

Actually when you look at all that is going on, 1st Texas Products has been, and is the most active of all the US Metal Detector Mfgs. Their engineering staff is always busy.

yes, the fact that the same engineering group is producing/updating 3 separate lines of detectors makes it seem less than it really is...

I do hope that more resources can be focused on the upcoming high-end Fisher models...even though the numbers/profits favour the other
lower priced lines and units...

I am glad we at least have one innovative forward moving detector company that is not just rebadging old equipment. I cannot wait to see the new Fisher PI detector they have been working on for some time.

How you doing there Lowboy? All good in your life I hope? I dont know nothing about the new fisher rig, but you have been a great hunter and finder of metal for a long while, and have been missed here...
