Although our area is OLD we had great difficulty finding Old Quarters and I always believed they had been Detected Out

This Is My Spill, 2 Barber Quarters with three Buffalo Nickels and steps away a V Nickel

The weeks before Brian found his first Barber Quarter and the weeks later the Seated Quarter and his second Gold Ring

We had the opportunity to go back to some Old Fields and Brian found the 1752 King George Copper and I found the Old Button with some type of animal on the front

The items photographed were cleaned to remove the rust, the item on the right is a very old American Indian Trade Axe made into a chisel and the item on left was a Door Hinge made into a file, I found the Trade Axe and Brian found the Door Hinge at the site of a Old Town

Thank You For Viewing and HH

Very cool! :clapping:

Was that a tight spill so those beautiful Q's were masked by the nickels? Reason I ask is, like in your area, around here the old dirt public areas have been hammered, but I'm thinking theres gotta be a tight multidenom masked spill in there someplace..

That's some very nice finds. Good going

Yes
It was a tight spill and I heard a high tone

Found a Buffalo Nickel first and kept checking with the pin pointer

Next was a Barber Quarter and I dropped it and was unsure where so I looked in the hole and there was another Barber Quarter and two Buffalo but i was not convinced and used the pro pointer in front of me on the ground was astounded to find another Barber Quarter which I had dropped

I had only found one other Barber Quarter and that was after five years Detecting so this was a Thrill!!

Nice Finds!
