Hit a new field site today, got 3 indians, 1901, 1895, and 1879, couple nice nickels 1926 buff and 1895 V, small button and a decorative piece from who knows what?

Job well Done, another TRIBE in the work's it appears.

You Did Good! ^-I spent six hours today in Old ground to find New clad...

Thats no ordinary 'run of the mill' 13 cents!
Nice job.

Wonder what would happen if say a candy bar was bought at some convenience store with 100+ yr. old coins?
Would the snot nosed kid behind the cash register know what the hell those coins are? Would he accept them as payment, call the manager, call the police or do a duhh?
They're still legal tender if legible.

I'll bet that was some fun diggin' Terry! I'm hoping not, but I'm afraid our grounds gonna freeze up earlier than normal this year. Thanks for the pictures.

WTG ! :beers:

Nice finds Terry. Your 13 cents beats the snot out of my 3 cents over the weekend. Hopefully you will be able to get in another hunt or two before the cold air arrives.

Nice finds Terry. I used to spend my dateless buffies at the corner gas station, the Asians there would not accept them, because they were not U.S. money! Hahahahaha.......nge
