Today I went to a spot that I have driven by a number of times. This park is on the outskirts of a major city here in Oregon, and what has interested me is the large old oak trees that border a major tributary in the park. Because of the easy access and proximity to the city, I thought it would be pretty much hunted out. I was wrong! Five minutes into the hunt I found the Indian Cent (1902). 45 minutes later, the Buffalo (191:geek:, 2 minutes later the wheat (1944). I had other business to attend to, so I had to leave. I surely will come back next Wednesday! Thanks for looking.

if ya grow tired of hunting coins you can always fish. in another month.

Yep. Springer fishing is here soon. I'll do a little of that too!

Sounds like you might be going back to that park time and time again. Great finds and I love those old oak trees. They love giving up a few coins or two. HH, Nancy
