New F75 Owner

I finally broke down and bought a new hot rod(F75) and in two short hunts, it truly is a high performance detector. Yesterday I broke it in and dug many questionable signals to learn the detector. One of the last targets turned out to be a 1903 Barber dime from nearly 10 inches! It was a quick high tone blip, but it did repeat from other angles. I had to leave because of the heat and biting flies so I went back to the same spot early this am. I did not find much and by 9am, it was getting hot again. I only found four coins and the first one was a 1919 wheat penny from about 8 inches in pretty heavy trash. People started coming around where I was hunting so I moved over to a large grassy slope where I have found older coins in the past. Tomorrow is my birthday and I was hoping for a silver coin to make today a success. I swear I had just thought "silver" when I got a quick blip on a pretty steep hill. From 7 inches comes a 1954 silver roosie. 1954 is the year of my birth. A couple of feet away, I got another deep wheat penny. This detector is hot and considering the short time I have used it, it is easy to use. I have yet to put the small coil on it. If the small coil works as well as the stock coil, this detector might be the perfect rig. It is the most well balanced detector I have ever used and it is the most sensitive detector I have ever used. R.L.

You are doing very well, RL, and it will only get better. I also have the small coil and use it about 50% of the time. It simply will get close and around things that the big coil can't and it has very good depth. If you need good depth in the trash, the big coil, though, is pretty tough to beat. You are off to a great start. Good luck and HH jim tn

Happy Birthday Ray, and 1954 was a very, very good year!!!
Great diggn's to ya!!!

ps. mines in august

Thanks Larry and Ray. I did not get out and won't be able to detect until Wed. I feel like a kid in a candy store with the F75. Two times out and silver both times. Nothing real great, but I am still learning the detector. Ray

H.B. Ray!

Good finds on the new machine!
Looks like you are working some good spots for the old coins.

Best of luck to you and keep posting your finds, no matter what you dig up!
