new f75 gold

just got my new f75 gold today. came with the large coil and rechargeable battery kit for home and car. sold coil and bought a nel tornado and received it today also. the nel weighs 18.7 oz on my postal scale and stock coil is 14.4oz. the nel seems to air test everything 2 or so inches deeper than stock. this machine is dead silent with either coil and max sens.. ive owned several f75 ltd's and never used the boost or cache modes.. the FA mode actually nails the coins in my test garden with an inch of snow on the ground thats with the nel coil.. i will try the stock coil later. seems like a very hot machine. very happy!

just tried stock coil in my test garden. in FA mode it gets the targets but not as loud as the nel coil. i also switched from 9.0 to 9.1 and did not see any difference in depth or how smooth it ran. runs as smooth as my f75ltd2 that i had. i really like it.

hello basstrackerman I just got the same deal and I should have it by the end of the week..dont hear much about the 15'" coil but if you watch any of the hoover boys videos Brad uses the f75 with the nel tornado and he seems to do as good as or better than the rest of them. in one of the videos I hear him say the tornado is the perfect coil for the f75. great depth and still gets small targets like half dimes and trimes. Kurt and the other guys use the nel storm on at pros and also find a lot of stuff. by the way I'm a sgt. for the PA dept. of corrections and have 5 more years to do before I retire. I live in nw PA. what part of Ohio you from?

Hi John. Im in north central Ohio.. I have the nel tornado for my f75 and yes it's nothing short of amazing.. very very good depth and i was picking up 22 shell casings at 8 plus inches with good solid signals.. i took it to a hunted out park that i have been hunting since the 1970's and walked away with a huge smile on my face. I sold the 15" coil that came with it and that money bought me a almost new nel tornado. Very happy camper. I am so glad to be away from the dept of corrections.. now if i can get my wife to retire from usps as she can anytime, then we can move south lol.
