New F-19

Hello. I just ordered an F-19 that is on its way to me now. There aren't many old sites in my area, so I am mostly a shallow coin and a jewelry hunter. If anyone has any tips to share about this unit I would like very much to hear them. Thanks!

Bill has a bunch of U tube Video's on the F19 (dirtfishing) Plan on digging a lot of Nickels, as the 19 loves them.

Here's my settings I use all the time no matter what I'm hunting for with the F19
Sensitivity 100
Disc 0
Tone break 29
I've had great results using these settings

I forgot to mention I set my volume on 11.

Howdy, hope you are gonna like yours as much as I like mine, this little machine has found me the goodies for sure... loves the gold jewelry, cracks me up.

Anyways... settings I enjoy most, keeping in mind I hunt for park jewelry the most...

Disc : 0
Sensitivity : 95-100
Volume : 10 (I don't really want to hear anything under the 40 ID - that's just me
V-Break : 50

Most of my gold finds have been in the 50 to 78 range... I know.... 78??? Yup... 22K, large ring.... rang in as a solid 78!

Small gold diamond earring rang in a solid 52.

Thin gold band... 58
Medium gold band ... 61
Thicker one..... 63

Pull tabs, depending.... can (for me anyways) come in all over the place, lol.... have seen 'em in the 50's and 60's....

The F19 is easily one of my most favorite machines... when it locks on an ID you can bet its pretty much on the money and sizing objects is real easy as well... I can tell pretty quick, instantly, whether the item is Ring/Coin/Tab size... or larger/smaller etc.

Again, being a gold jewelry hunter for the most part, I know not to trust IDs and pretty much dig all... although I am learning with this machine to leave the items under 40 ID ... although I know I am risking not digging a chain etc... so,. sometimes I will change the volume so can pick up the 40ish ids as well, lol... depends on my mood.

Low 50s.... can often be foil.... but again, if you are a jewelry hunter... ya gotta dig it.

Mine seems to love the coins as well... again, hope you enjoy yours, congrats, "I" think this machine is awesome. But, what do I know. Lol.

Happy Hunting!

Ron
