New Explorer Strikes Again!! Silver and Gold

:minelab::clap: [attachment 23948 MVC-067S.JPG]I had a pretty good weekend with this really fantastic machine. Once you get over the learning curve and get familiar with what the different sounds and tones mean, it's unbelievable!!! I just recently got the X-1 probe from Ralph at Sun-Ray Detectors and it's the second best investment that I've made, with the number one being buying the Explorer II. [attachment 23950 MVC-069S.JPG][attachment 23951 MVC-070S.JPG][attachment 23953 MVC-071S.JPG][attachment 23955 MVC-072S.JPG]I found the 14KT Gold nugget ring with two diamonds at a lake site, digital readings were 08 Ferrous, and 09 Conductivity, around 4" deep. It read pretty much dead on, in the nickle range. I'm not sure about the size of the diamonds, they measure about .200 wide. [attachment 23949 MVC-068S.JPG]I also found 7 nickles, a 1960 Washington Quarter, two silver Roosevelt Dimes, 5 Wheats, 3 foreign coins, lots of modern coins and three apron loads of trash. If it gives me a decent tone or sound, and it's in the foil or pulltab range, I dig it. Two rings in two weekends makes it worth all the effort. Thanks for the great Forum!!! HH Deh59

Congrats on all the great finds! The Ring is a definite keeper. You just never know what will come out of the ground next and that is why it is so fun.
