New Excalibur II

Just got my new Excal today from my local dealer here in SE Delaware. Got an awesome deal, even got the holiday package with it.(Sweet back pack). Took it for a short spin out on Fenwick Island beach, found some clad and the usual trash. Did find a crematory tag from National Cremetory in Falls Church,Va. I know it's just the tag but still kind of creepy. What do you guy's think, should i take it back and throw it as far out as i can ? Anyway i love this detector, have been wanting to get one for a while.

Yeah Erik, i'm taking it back this weekend. Hopefully it wont wash back up.

I get crematory tags all the time here on Pismo Beach (even found a husband & wife one once). What I do is hook a 1 lb lead weight to them with some SS wire then head down to the cliffs in Shell Beach and throw them off, into the ocean where there is no access to the beach or rocks.
I know the SS wire and lead weight will never corrode in my life time and have never seen one come back up on shore, I have done this with about 50 of them over the years. I also do the same thing with pet (dog) tags I find, as some people spread their pet ashes off the pier along with the animals tags, not knowing the tags will wash up on the beach eventually.

wow, ive not found one of those tags yet, but your post does make you wonder what would you do if you found one...
i guess when i come across one ill reflect allot,i know i wouldnt want to keep it tho.
