I got my Etrac last week and I have been having a great time with it. I am not new to metal detecting started in the early 80s with a Garrett Ground hog, then a Teknetic 8500b, White Eagle 2 SL. Then I stopped for about 10 years, this spring I bought a Teknetic T2 SE good machine but not an Etrac. Since getting the Etrac, I have found 4 silver dimes and 2 silver rings, plenty of clad. Today I decided to try the TTF, I think that I like it and will continue to use it for awhile. I found a 42 Mercury dime using the TTF.
I have been reading this forum and watching the videos in order to learn the Etrac, this is a great forum, thank you all for all the help.

Welcome to the E-trac family. It sounds like you are learning fast--congratulations on all your great finds. Post some pictures when you get a chance. Good luck and happy hunting! ---Cladiator

Congrats on the Etrac and the silver!! The Etrac really is an amazing machine. When I first hunted with mine within an hour or so I told my wife that using it was like shooting fish in a barrel. The ability of this machine makes digging old coins so much fun! Its gonna be a good year!!

Hi Sid, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you hit the ground running. Some excellent results for a weeks worth of hunting. Looking forward to seeing your future finds.
