New Etrac on the way

Ohio Digger

Ordered my Etrac from Bart yesterday. It should be here tomorrow. I can't wait! I'm hoping it lives up to all the hype! I prefer to swing slow so I think the Etrac and I will get along great. Plan on hitting some previously hunted sites that I've gone over before with the Ace 250 and DFX.

You're probably going to need a deeper recovery tool as well. I went from a 10" shanked screwdriver to a 12" shanked screwdriver.

Don't tell the local White's guys what you're finding with your new E-trac. Hee Hee!

I got mine 2 weeks ago from Bart. It's definitely a lot harder than my Ace 350 but the etrac provides so much more visibility into what's under the ground. It's amazing.

I went over my yard a bunch of times with the Ace 350 and picked up all of the surface clad. Was getting a little frustrated with the etrac so I started digging a test garden. The etrac found a 1945 wheatie between two iron nails just a few feet from my door. It made me a believer!

I'm new to MD, but I went from an AT Pro to E-trac and I love it! There were a few days when I was frustrated that I could't get consistency, but a quick read of Sabisch's book and some YT videos got me straight and now I am becoming a deadeye coinshooter. You gotta treat the E-trac like a woman, stop staring at the VDIs and just listen to her!

Humorously I need to complain! The E-trac goes too deep! My Lesche was 1/2 way up the red handle before I reached the wheat cent Sunday afternoon.
