New Eclipse Shooter 1st Impression

Finally received my Eclipse Shooter yesterday and just had to get out there and try it. I only had about an hour but found 42 coins in a trashy area that drove my 950 coil bonkers. This is the first time I've owned a "small" coil, for any of my detectors, and it's so weird looking down at this coil! Ohooo how light it is! I figured out that I had to slow down and the coils started showing up. I'll need to use the coil a few more times to decide on it's worth to me. Still want to get the 5" Excelerator and give it a whirl! Ron

Well good luck on getting the 5" excelerator. I have had one on order for over 2 months and they still can't tell me when they will be able to ship. They order these from somewhere(Japan?) and they apparently can't get their shipment. Hurricane has nothing to do with it according to what they told me.

The shooter coil was my main coil on the MXT. It will make you slow down and if you listen carefully it WILL find the deep stuff too . Try running the gain high as possible.

Ron, did you find any silver in all those coins? Just curious.

The Eclipse Shooter is the best in my opinion. The 5" Exc. is okay but if you have the mini dd you don't need the 5" ...

Me too dealing with Kellyco so I cancelled my order after three weeks of waiting and had them switch my order to the Shooter coil. See my "Hostage by Kellyco" in this forum. I'll just get one at a latter date!
Ron

Thanks Brian! I'm also enjoying my Grey Ghost Originals I got from you last week after my air pressure modification. Ron

Just a lot of good learning experience with my new month old MXT! Love it! Got headphones, got coils, got to get better!

I did find a couple of pennies at 5". I'm going out again in a few minutes and try my luck. I only got to use it for an hour yesterday.
Ron

You might try emailing the dealer in Toledo and see if he can send you one. I was just there last weekend and I think he had one of those coils setting on his shelf.
Mike Brighty is the owner and a real stand up guy.

Kellyco is not my favorite. I've had problems with them in the past

The Eclipse Shooter is a very good coil in ground with lots of man made iron,, just slow down your swing and try to swing to the sides of iron pockets,
I have collected alot of coin this year that i am sure many others have pasted up in iron spots just by being slow and patient. I love my shooter..
