Yes, I totally agree... Can't minelab create a lighter package with the same electronics ?? Weight was why I had to give up the explorer series..
As much as I like a removable battery, if they could put a nox battery in the machine, that would save 4 or 5 oz. Basically, build a machine that a 100lb woman could swing for a couple hours.
Then throw on a user button like the ctx, and add extra features to the qm button with a long hold.
