new e-trac. Pro coil looks used?

Hello, just got a new e-trac, can't use it because of snow for a while. Was surprised that the bottom of the coil looks "not new", Hard to describe but looks faded on the bottom. probably a dumb question, but are they all like that. Will post a pic up when at home.

I can't remember looking at mine too much. Make sure its got the snap on coil cover. It should've came with it.

The bottom of my coil had a dis-colored look, but most of my other new coils do too, something about how the resin is mixed. Maybe from a power stir.

I was about to ask the same question....
I have purchased an e-trac last month and i'm a little concerned about the finish quality of the pro coil, the polish is not even everywhere and there is some bubble and irregularities.
I was wondering if this could affect the performances of the coil?

Glad you posted a pic so i don't have to figure it out yet. That is what mine looks like too. Most other coils I have owned looked better but as long as quality is good I'm happy.

purchased mine in uk and there were no marks or blemishes on coil when purchased it although i am sure it wont have any effect on workings it just doesnt look good say if your circumstances changed and you needed to sell it as new it just doesnt look new so i would have a word with suppleir thats my opinion

most of the ones Ive seen look like this, same on my etrac, se pro and my tornado coils on my sovs. just the way the epoxy cured, wont effect performance. like the one person posted, if you had scratches on it or the coil cover, thats a different story, that would indicate use.
