New E-trac owner

I just traded my detector for an E-trac and Im glad I did. With only four days of detecting on it I found 7 silver dimes already and several wheaties.

That makes two vision owners i have seen trade for e tracs in the last two weeks!

What is your opinion after owning the vision and going to the e trac?

I hunt with three guys that use the E-trac and after seeing what they were finding compared to me I had to switch. I met two other guys that were using the V3 and they had the same problem picking up the deeper coins like me. After six months of trying every program out there I got the chance to trade it for an E-trac. I think its easier to learn then the V3 - not as many bells and whistles and I never owned a Minelab before.
 
Great looking finds, I have heard some people have been doing well with their V3 and some have switched from the etrac to the V3 as well. However, based on the support I have in my area I chose the etrac, now I hope this low tech guy can handle this high tech detector. :beers:

I am hunting in local parks around the city. They have been detected for the past thirty years but never hunted out.
