New E Trac =found some good stuff

dk dogs

New member
I received my new E trac late last week. So far I have scored a nice pocket watch and found my first Buffalo nickel in 4 years and a 1911 Barber dime. Several early wheat pennies " more than I have found all year." Its taken a bit to get used to but I think I have it dialed in now.

Congratulations on the Barber Buffalo and pocket watch, looks like to me you got it figured out

The dial was falling apart but I was able to get the maker off the dial. Looks like it was a low end company. I am guessing its from the 40's looking at the styles they made at that time.

I was going to today but... I didnt and should have. I will try to get some videos in the next week.

Khouse. Thanks again for your help setting it up with me last night.

Awesome finds dk, the cover of the pocket watch, " what is it made of "?

Thx,

Moose

First 15-20 hours are the most confusing. You are always learning, but after a while you pretty much know when its a coin. Congratulations on some special finds and good to see the pictures. I'm looking forward to more!

The front is glass. Its just dirt stained.

Way to go! You got some nice finds! The more you use that Etrac the more all those sounds register with you and when do dig. Looks like you are a quick learner!

Very nice finds !

Good luck with your new E-Trac !
