New digging show on Travel Channel.

Cool new show on the Travel Channel---Dig Wars
New time is 8:30 PM CST with the next new episode premiering Wednesday. Tune in to see some cool detecting and good times on TV with Fisher, Teknetics, Minelab, Tesoro and Garrett metal detectors all in action finding some really cool artifacts being dug! Full episode and 3 minute teaser reels available on the Travel Channel website just go there and search Dig Wars to pull up the vids.

Just what we need....MORE JUNK shows creating more and more competition.
Just my opinion. When the fad wears off there will be a lot of detectors gatherubng
dust in garages and selling at pawn shops and garage sales.
 
There is one now on the dicovery channel called "Diggers " in my opinion these two guys are complete idiots and make the hobby a laughing stock
 
I like this show better than diggers, but I don't like the grab-assing that goes on. In one episode the opposing teams were throwing pennies out to hinder another team and then they returned the favor. In last nights episode, the same guys who were throwing the pennies were messing up the discrimination on the other teams metal detector and I don't get upset easily, but when you mess with my detector, I get upset. This is why I hunt alone, I take my hobby serious and don't need any aggravation from slackers who don't want to do their research or follow others around and try and take advantage of their hard work. Maybe I just don't have a sense of humor, but as long as I detect by myself, I won't offend anybody.
 
REALLY! You are correct sir these guys are out to lunch, they really could have presented the subject matter in a more professional forum, it is a program for young children to enjoy!!
