or will it be a ...............what you got is what you got year? Some speculation is out there. Eg........Fisher cz3d is gone.......so is 1270X .Possible Whites M7 on the way??? etc etc..................anyone kmow anything?? I know we can't rely on dealers.........they won't talk unless tied to a chair and threatened!!!! LOL LOL

One thing you can be sure of though......any new detector will not give a great deal of performance over what is currently available.....it will just involve more useless features that do nothing to improve your finds rate.

Most companies are tight lipped on their releases. As for no new features, unless you are an insider you can never be sure until its here and tested.

What amazes me is with all the interest in salt beach hunting, no one is putting out a lighter weight dual/multi frequency machine. Nobody. Tired old bulky designs of a decade ago is all you can find. Really, the only significant salt machine that has come out recently retails for about $2400. I think we do better.

I agree. Single frequency VLF technology hasn't changed forever and probably won't anytime soon. Transmit power is limited by the FCC. Receivers can't get much more sensitive without EMI issues. What ya would see are new displays and nifty features. When all is said and done it won't be any better than what you have now. I use Tesoro beep and dig and don't really need much more. The only thing that would excite would be a much lower priced multi. Freq. from an American manufacturer that was simple to operate with minimal display options and menus.

I'd like to see them start working on a lower priced PI
WITH DEPTH indicator. The price range for a PI is a little
steep in my opinion.
