Just got started in this hobby--got a VLP bounty for christmas--been watching the post--do I need to make a cover for the coil?--can't find much info on it-it looks like it has a blk. cover on it--any info is appreciated
 
Sounds like it has a cover on it the cover comes on and off some are harder to remove than others you will see an edge around the side of the coil that would be the cover. It wouldn't be a problem starting out anyway its to protect the coil from wear. Dan
