I'M TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN TWO DETECTORS. THE FISHER F-5 & THE WHITES MATRIX-6. I DO COIN HUNTING AND VERY OCCASIONALLY SALT WATER BEACH HUNTING.I CURRENTLY HUNT WITH A CZ-5,BUT AM LOOKING FOR A MACHINE WITH A TID READ OUT,AND LIGHTER OR BETTER BALLANCED.I WELCOME ALL YOUR OPINIONS,BUT PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU HAVE THOSE OPINIONS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Seriously and carefully look at the features of the Minelab X-Terra 70 . That is honestly the best one...for what you want. Only salt water will impede ANY single frequency VLF. Then for good disc. in salt get a multi frequency VLF Explorer SE Pro or E-Trac with the TID.

i use the minelab quattro & i find that its comfotable in all inviroments, salt, fresh, water... parks, been very happy with it its a machine u either love or u hate, if u take the time to learn it u will love it & the learning curve on it it is easy compared to other machines explorer etc. diggitdawg

I agree with the X-Terra 70. It is one sweet machine. Has the beach mode, coin and relic, and a prospect mode. Very easy to use, light, and allows for room to grow. Heck i have had mine a year and am still learning some things about it.

Give the sponsors a call let them know what you are wanting to do. They can help you I am sure, Beale.
