New detector technologies.....With pictures....

Hi All,

I did some research on the web to find new metal detectors that aren't being discussed in any of the forums here.

Below I've posted some of the more intresting new detectors with pictures and links. Just click on the links, the thumbnails only take you to bigger ImageShack images.

This first one, wow! It was developed by the Johnson Space Center and according to the article;

"Arndt and his team developed a device that locates metal objects beneath the soil in depths reaching as much as <i><b>eight feet below the Earth

That first one is interesting to me, wish they would lend me one to test it out. LOL

Some of those look really old. Look closely at the log scanner. He is straight out of the early 80's, The detector he is holding looks just like the whites 6500 coinmaster I had in 1985.

If we could just get an update to the Excal, I'd be happy
