new detector or new coil????

I have an Ace 250 now. I was looking at either a new detector or new coil. I want to get deeper. So the question is.. Is it worth the extra money for a new detector or will a new coil offer the same results using the Ace 250 instead of buying a new detector? I was thinking about the GTI 1500 or GTI 2500 and AT Pro. Thoughts and suggestions would be great.

Well the Ace 250 is a fine machine and a bigger coil would certainly add a little depth. But I don't think it would compete with any of the other detectors you've mentioned depth wise or feature wise. And the others have an adjustable ground balance, which generally gets you a little more depth.
 
The Ace 250 and the AT-Pro would be a great combination.
 
Yeah...both Sailor and Shenandoah are right of course...I'd go with the ATPro and keep the 250 ..they'd be a nice looking team alright!
