New detecting club in Northern lower Michigan,...

Well it finally happened, <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> our local detector salesman is starting up a detecting club here in Alpena Michigan.
Tonight was the first meeting and anyone can attend or join no matter where you live in Northern Michigan, so tell everyone you know that may be interested.
The next meeting will be on the 18th of march at 7:00 pm at the AMA Education building across from pizza hut at 2118 US-23 South in downtown Alpena.

I for one am glad Dave is starting up this club since to my knowledge this is the first club in Northern lower Michigan.
I have always wanted to join a detecting club, but all the existing ones were too far away to be convenient.
Especially after hearing how much fun is associated with being in a detecting club.
