New CZ audio wish list

therover

Well-known member
Well, since we have the unique opportunity to voice our opinons on the R and D of the forthcoming CZ, here is one of mine ( which kinda meshes some of the other great ideas mentioned on the previous thread).

In speaking about the new CZ want lists, the subject of an audio screen is very compelling. In addition to my wish list of this new unit continuing to have a dual frequency capability ( for a more stable salt water hunting experience) and the ability to run in each single frequency mode ( or whatever frequencies the unit will have), I would love to see the ability to switch from a TID screen to an

What the heck. I avoided the other thread thinking that target visualization with more options in both audio and visual display isn't very useful when submerged in cloudy water and would most likely be a more expensive unit. I like to have an affordable, simple, easy to use, deep unit, with good battery life that I can throw in the car when I get a moment to get out there to hunt.

For both land and submersible versions:
-Loose some weight.
-Better balance.
-A mode change button or switch in ready reach of thumb or finger. Momentary contact so that when hunting in discriminate mode it would momentarily switch to all metal or when hunting in all metal it would momentarily switch to discriminate.
-Quicker recovery time.
-Thinner profile coils that cut through the water better.
-Add a delta pitch (like the F75 has) to the very useful 3 or 4 tone set up of a CZ.
-DD coils.
Above all keep it a stable, easy to use and forgiving hunter like a CZ always has been. A detector I can walk from the water to the wet salt sand to the dry sand without needing to stay on top of the settings to keep it deep.
Cheers,
tvr

Keep the high tones for nickels, etc like the CZ-3D as well.

And Please keep the adjustable modulated audio or target boost volume control. And the 4 tone I.D. I think I can live with everything else.

Make the (2) MIDDLE TONES more DISTINCTIVE, so that ALL (4) TONES are MORE DISTINCTIVE like the MINELAB TONE ID!! Also, make it either
WATERPROOF or WEATHERPROOF!! I realize that WATERPROOFING is a VERY EXPENSIVE Feature!! MANY THANKS, Les Robinson
