New CZ 3D How do you find one that is properly tuned?

If it is brand New it is a roll of the dice unless you can get a dealer to air test one which is unlikely.
Mine is a Newer one but was only use a couple times. So I had guy air test it. It was about 11.5" or something so I bought it. But the category were off so sent to Tom for calibration. He got Me another half inch or so and adjusted the rest.

Buy a new one and get it tuned the older ones are all either not going to be sold because they are amazing or are broken. Not many of them left.

If the CZ was still in direct competition with Minelab's FBS units then Fisher would pay more attention to their tuning. But they are not, so they don't.

Currently Fisher factory will consider 9" on a dime acceptable for a CZ; this is based upon what folks have reported from sending them in for adjustment.

Only way to get an acceptable one is like Harold said, Call around and have dealers air test them until you find an accpetable one. You can''t hardly resale the dogs so you don't want to get stuck with one.
